and Patricia Dufflocq,
the Cumilahue Fly Fishing Lodge is located in a valley of breathtaking
beauty, “where
time stopped” .
The lodge's atmosphere is warm, very comfortable, and has all the necessary
conveniences.
Accommodations are provided in rooms with private bath, or at the charming "Angler's
Cottage" The lodge was originally designed for fly fishermen and has a maximum
capacity of ten guests at a time to ensure a quiet vacation and privacy.
Patricia runs the lodge caring for it's intricate details, including a cuisine
that has become legendary. Adrian, a professional fly fishing host, with more
experience in this field than anyone else in Chile, takes care of the sophisticated
fishing programs. Non fishermen are welcome to enjoy sightseeing excursions and
other outdoor related activities.
Fishing Season Opening Day:
Second Friday of November.
Closing Day:
First Sunday of May.
For non fishermen - Sightseeing and other outdoor activities. (hiking, exploring,
bird watching, river floats, photography.) : October to May both included.
